The Principles of Psychology

Hey, I just came across the most incredible book on the Internet Archive and I had to share it, especially since it's totally free for download.
It’s The Principles of Psychology by William James (1890). Forget modern textbooks—this is the guy who basically invented American psychology.
I was blown away by three things:
"Stream of Consciousness": He coined the phrase, and reading his description of how our thoughts actually flow (not just clunk from one idea to the next) is mind-changing.
Habit Hacking (1890 Style): His advice on forming good habits is shockingly practical and ruthless. It's built on the idea that every small choice literally grooves a path into your nervous system.
The Emotion Flip: He suggests we don't cry because we're sad; we feel sad because we're crying. It turns the way we think about feelings completely on its head.
Since it’s old enough to be in the public domain, you can grab the PDF or EPUB and even upload it to your own site if you want.
Seriously, if you want a foundational understanding of the human mind, this is the book.
