Step 1: Note down the phone number of the person who blocked you
If the contact who blocked you is saved in your phone, make sure to write down their number somewhere safe, then delete the contact from your phone.
Step 2: Back up your WhatsApp chats
If you’re not already familiar with backing up WhatsApp chats, here’s a quick guide to create a Google Drive backup:
• Open WhatsApp and navigate to Menu > Settings > Chats > Chat backup.
• Tap on “Back up to Google Drive” and select how often you want backups to occur.
• Choose or add the Google account where the backup will be saved. Remember which account you use.
• Select the network (Wi-Fi or cellular) for backing up. Note that using cellular data may incur charges.
Step 3: Delete your WhatsApp account
Go to WhatsApp Settings > Account > Delete My Account. Enter your phone number in full international format and confirm deletion. Deleting your account means you will no longer be active on WhatsApp, so technically you cannot be blocked by anyone. This also removes you from any block lists.
Step 4: Clear WhatsApp data from your phone
Finally, go to your phone’s Settings > Apps > WhatsApp and clear the app data to remove all local information.
This process effectively removes you from the blocker’s list by deleting your WhatsApp presence and starting fresh if you choose to reinstall or register again later
