Automatic YouTube Shorts Generator and Uploader
Overview
The inspiration for this project came from recognizing how content can be transformed and repurposed across different platforms. For example, YouTube videos can be adapted into TikTok clips, Instagram posts can be shared on Facebook, and Reddit threads can be turned into engaging YouTube content. I decided to focus on one segment of this idea: converting Reddit content into YouTube Shorts.
I chose the YouTube Shorts format because it’s a rapidly growing space with less competition, making it easier to build an audience. This project also gave me the opportunity to dive into automated video editing and enhance my skills in writing clean, Pythonic code.
